The Foundation

Red pepper

Spinach

~ 2 big handfuls

Red onion

~ 1/4 cup

Cherry tomatoes

~ 1 cup

Fresh cilantro

~ 1 handful

Fresh mint

~ 1 handful

Flank steak

thin slice

The Elixir: Nam Jim

fish sauce

2 Tbsp

limes, juiced

grapeseed oil

1 Tbsp

white sugar

Half bunch

garlic

1 clove

Ginger Soy Steak Marinade

soy sauce

3 tbsp

gochujang (Korean chili paste)

1 tbsp

Shaoxing wine

2 tbsp

lime, juiced

fresh ginger, grated (be generous)

1 tbsp

garlic, grated

3 cloves

white pepper

½ tsp

Method: Whisk together and pour over flank steak. Marinate minimum 1 hour, ideally 4 or overnight. Grill or sear over high heat, then rest 5 minutes before slicing against the grain.
